About us

We are a family run guesthouse.

Our father was a school teacher with seven children and a wife to support. Times were hard in Turkey and so, in 1973, we immigrated to Australia where we lived for 12 years.

In 1985, though we loved Australia, we felt it was time to return to our roots, and move back to Turkey.

Sons Steve and Harry opened the ANZ pension in 1985. We have been open ever since, and though it hasn't always been easy we've loved every minute of it.

So...welcome to our home!

Why the name ANZ?

As a thank you to the 12 years we lived down under...

Back in 1986 we created the original Australian New Zealand Pension for you the traveller...as a place to relax, meet other people from all parts of the world, see the sites, and above all ENJOY YOURSELF!
